Miss my DSL

I just had to say it , I miss my DSL , This Dial-up is for the birds (or cavemen with dinosaur computers...lol) . I feel Like i went back in time about 18 years . This thing is so slow I can bake a cake in between pages loading. I will be glad when they get the DSL in this area I am in now , say they are working on it , hope its soon.

I know what you mean. We had dial up and now we are on DSL and there is a major difference. You would think with most phone companies going to DSL that it would free up some and make it fewer on dial up and actually make it faster.

How far are you from Arkansas? Are there any places around where Lufkin that sells mini excavators (used ones are fine), been looking for one and would drive a state over if i could fins one with a decent price.

I am about 168 miles from texarkanna , I will look around for you Dennis . There is a paper here in east Texas called the peddler people list stuff they have for sale , might be some in it , it is also online at peddlernet.com .

Thanks for the info, i will check it out this evening. Those things are hard to find for a decent price around here, probably are anywhere i guess.

No problem, I did a search online for texas and i seen 16 of them starting from $18,000 and on up. The peddlernet.com also has a newspaper i can pickup at the local grocery store that has stuff in it that is not online , I will get one tomorrow when i go to town and see if i see anything in it.

It really depends on the brand and year model. I found one in a small town where i work for $7500.00 OBO. Actually a good price though it is an older one but run good, naturally the cheaper the better but there quite expensive for new ones. Hoping i can find a place to finance one so we can get a newer model possibly.

I hear you Dennis , Thats the way I feel about most things " the cheaper the better" I will keep a eye out for you on this and if i run across anything I will let you know about it and let you decide if it is a good deal or not.

Checked the newspaper out didnt see any in it , they come out with a new one every 2 weeks , so I will check it again when the new one comes out.

Nothing very reasonable. Still looking, figured i wouldn't look as hard. Seems like when i'm looking for something i never find it and if i'm not looking as hard you seem to find a few then.

I am a happy man again , got high speed internet back , had to go through direct tv to get it where i live .

It is working pretty good , It is as fast as what I had before , i would say about 100 times faster than dial up.
