Any info on the Winter Haven, Florida area

Just wandering if anyone has any info on the Winter Haven, Florida area. Just basic stuff lile schools, work, prices on housing, groceries. We have been thinking about going there for a move for a couple years and are really talking more serious now if we can convinve the oldest daughter and grandbaby to go with us. Would be hard without the grandbaby there. Kinda used to having her with us alot.

My dad lives in Fort Myers FL and he loves it. I know it is a little over 100 miles south of Winter Haven. Other than that I don't know much.

Well Dennis , before i moved back to Texas in 2008 I lived in Lakeland Fl. (not far from there ) I know that Lakeland was pretty expensive place to rent a house Groceries were on the rise (like they are everywhere) My mom still lives in Lakeland now , I will see about getting some info from her.

Thanks any info would be great. Lakeland isn't to far from Winter Haven, 20 to 25 minutes i guess. If you can see if she can get me a couple issues of the Lakeland Ledger, i will pay for the papers and shipping if she can do that. Will also pay for her trouble.
