Adrian Beltre's quest for 3000 Hits

I thought i would start a thread for Adrian Beltre's quest for 3000 hits. He stands at 2980 currently just 20 shy of 3000. We are going to Arlington for a game on the 25th of July so maybe we will see him get hit #3000 that night.

He would have to get hot and stay hot for 10 days for that to happen but you never know.

That is true, they have 10 games till that night so he needs a few games with 2 hits and maybe a 3 hit game to get close but still looking forward to it. We were hoping Darvish was pitching but Cole Hamels is scheduled to go that night so that isn't bad either.

Went ahead and went to last nights game and going to tonights game as well. Rangers lost last night 4-0 but we did get to see Adrian Beltre go 4-4 and see Giancarlo Stanton hit 2 home runs. Also got to see Ichiro play and make an amazing catch in batting practice.

Went to last nights game and got to see a Rangers win 10-4 over the Marlins. Joey Gallo hit 2 hr's and Odor and Napoli both hit hr as well. We got tickets for tonights series finale as well so looking forward to it and we will get to see Yu Darvish pitch tonight if he isn't traded during the day.

Ok haven't been on here for a couple days, we went to Wednesday's game as well, Rangers got beat 22-10 but Beltre did hit a HR and 2 doubles before being ejected in the 8th inning. Still a great experience to see the whole 3 game series, can't wait till next years vacation to see the Rangers again, hopefully against a couple different teams.

It sounds like you had a great trip! It was crazy that Beltre got tossed for being outside the on-deck circle. Looks like he will get 3,000 this weekend against Baltimore.
