my dads friend has a couple boxes of football cards in his attic from the 70's and hes giving them to me
do you think they will be worth anything

I think the 1972 Topps Hi #'s are quite pricey............A friend of mine needs a bunch and says only 1 or 2 dealers on eBay have them...............
