Cataloging My cards questions

Im Currently working on getting my 50 some thousand cards catologed into google docs or spreadsheet i need some tips
im doing one for football one for baseball one for hockey one for basketball

How should i organize them on the document? What Should The Template look like?

Heres the steps im following so far

1 gather them all up
2 Organize by Brand And Sport
3 See if i can make any sets Make as many as possible
4 put whats left on the doc

any tips?

Don't know much about that stuff but the steps you have listed would be how i would do it myself.

Good luck on this, it can be tough and sometimes never ending but stay with it and you will get it.

You might want to add in the year too...........Like Dennis said, it is a slow process, try not to become overwhelmed..........

thanks guys its so much i just went threw 7 boxes yesterday and pulled out all topps and donruss now i gotta get them in piles of their years and see if i can make sets
